A Poem on my Childhood friend Lishi

"Our Friendship – Cherished Forever"
She has been my pal since the time we were kids,
With our friendship blossoming afresh everyday in our mid twenties.
Sometimes we are together and at times miles apart,
But our friendship remains unblemished and blessed with no ill feelings @ heart.
We are so alike in our thoughts and action,
Which leaves no room for any scoops and pretensions.
To celebrate this friendship which is so thick and deep,
Let me dedicate this small little poem to make it even more unique .
Well the friend I am talking about is none other than Lishi,
Who is tall, smart sizzling and slick.
When I think of penning down my feelings for her, I feel like sitting before mirror wid myriad impressions going hither, thither.
She is a lady wid a refreshing smile and a cheerful disposition,
Living life to the fullest wid fun & passion.
She is independent and dictates her own terms,
Boldly facing life and its challenges its twist & turns.
In the first meeting she seldom talks,
But when you get closer to her she hardly stops.
She is a voracious reader and an ardent fan of cinema,
Her life revolves around music, art and drama.
She is a lover of nature & a travel monger,
A visionary @ heart and a dreamer to the core.
She loves eating & has an amazing appetite for food,
With her taste constantly changing wid her swinging mood.
She likes to mingle and freak out wid friends,
Exploring life moment by moment & moving wid modern trends.
She has a pure heart untouched with malice, silently playing her part dwelling in peace
People think she is immature and childish,
but she proves them wrong by being sensible, thoughtful and doing good analysis.
Wid her innocence and simplicity she believes every person,
gets duped by them and then learns a lesson.
She has been a wonderful friend and a gr8 pillar of support,
her friendship comes naturally to me without any effort.
She fills my life wid enormous love and vitality,
pumping me up wen I feel low and dampen in spirit.
Hope our friendship grows stronger and mightier wid time,
Retaining its purity and becoming eternally sublime

The Power of Women

 "Women"

The symbol of love, uncompromising beauty and mysticism,
the embodiment of compassion , power and impeccable devotion ,
she is thou women, gods most novel and unique creation.
With looks soft and tender as a lilly, but a heart stronger than a
mighty men,
She has the ability to conquer the world by virtue of her vision and strength
She plays multiple roles in her short span of life ,
The role of a daughter, a sister , a caring mother and a loving wife.
With her divine beauty and magnetic charm ,
She spell bounds men-the other half of mankind with her sheer passion and warmth.
She is the bridge, the stumbling pillar of all relation,
the ultimate beholder of procreation,
She is the powerhouse of affection, benevolence , kindness and tolorence,
who absorbs all the hurdles and triumphs over turbulence.
She has traveled many pathways and has come a long way,
struggling in the olden days and now floating with the modern waves.
She is sometimes belittled by mankind and sometimes worshiped as deity,
But now in this dynamic world she is known to be  wise , worthy and witty.
With sweet words and streaks of anger ,
she manages her life carrying the load on her tiny shoulder.
The women of today is strong, empowered and bold
and have created an enviable status for them in this so called men's world.
It is women who make the world heaven and paradise,
Sailing the voyage of life with uncertainty like the game of dice.

My First Poem

Thought of writing a Poem”

Tonight I thought of writing a Poem,
It was a strange feeling with an admixture of happiness & pain.
I stepped out to look at the stars in the sky,
To my utter surprise it appeared to be shallow & dry.
Then I turned my eyes into the field,
Full of grasses beautiful & green.
The lush green grasses wanted to speak,
Their pain, their suffering, their agony & grief.
They get tormented every day,
And fear that they will wither away.
Then I saw a fragile old man,
Sitting alone in the winter night.
There was no one to take care of him and pity his miserable plight.
Suddenly I could feel tears in my eyes,
For existence we all have to pay a heavy price.
All these experiences made me realize,
Life is nothing but a myth & sheer surprise.
Tonight I sensed the meaning of life,
It’s nothing but a blend of adjustments and sacrifice.
Life is one not two and three,
Live it with joy and cheerful spree.
My strange thought of writing a poem,
Tought me the real essence of life and was not vague and vain
